Over the meal, we used &#8220;ice-breaker&#8221; questions to get to know our table-mates. We were happy to see a slide presentation featuring highlights of our 2025-2026 year.<\/p>\n<p>Our new sound system, donated by Maureen B, was much appreciated by all and ensured that everyone could hear over the lively chatter of the group.<\/p>\n<p>As we celebrate our 75th anniversary year, we received a letter of congratulations from MPP Rob Flack, and a formal certificate of congratulations from Mayor Joe Preston. We recognized some of our long term members with a gift of a potted plant. (Marilyn A &#8211; since 1967; Cathy H &amp; Helen B &#8211; since 1974; Barb G &#8211; since 1979; Nancy J &#8211; since 1987 and President at the 50th Anniversary; Mary Ellen B &#8211; since 1985).
